Mr Chew Seng Kok, Managing Director of ZICO Holdings Inc, is primarily responsible for the business development, overall strategy and management of the Group. ZICO, an integrated provider of multidisciplinary professional services focused on the ASEAN region, provides advisory and transactional services, management and support services and licensing services. ZICO
was listed on Catalist of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited on 11 November 2014.

Seng Kok graduated with a LLB (Hons) in 1984 and obtained a LLM (1st Class) from Victoria University of Wellington, NZ in 1989. Seng Kok started practice in Malaysia in 1985, was with Chapman Tripp in Wellington and Baker & McKenzie, Singapore. In 1991, he joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co. (ZI) where he rose up the ranks to become its managing partner in 2004. While at ZI, Seng Kok was acknowledged as the leading lawyer on privatisation and in the development and financing of infrastructure projects in Malaysia and in Asia. He has advised clients in the following sectors: private power generation, water supply, sewerage services, urban transport, waste disposal, land development or reclamation, and highways. He has extensive experience in advising foreign and local sponsors, lenders and the Government on a broad range of legislative and regulatory matters in dealing with the Federal and State Government agencies. He was recognised as a leading lawyer in the Chambers Global Guide and acknowledged as one of Asia’s leading business lawyers in the Asia Law Leading Lawyers.

He assumed the role of regional managing partner of ZICO Law in 2011, a network of independent law firms in the ASEAN region which is associated with the Group. The network has offices in 17 cities throughout South East Asia including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Brunei and Philippines.

In November 2014, Seng Kok left his managing role in Zaid Ibrahim & Co and ZICO Law to take up a full time role as the Managing Director of ZICO. He also became the Chairman of the ZICO Law Network.

Seng Kok is very active in supporting the public and private sectors on promoting trade and investments in the ASEAN region. He is a Director of the ASEAN Business Club, an association of the chief executives of the region’s leading business enterprises. Seng Kok was given an award by the NZ government in August 2015 in recognition of his significant contribution in building strong ties between New Zealand and Malaysia and with ASEAN.
