Saji Raghavan was in October 2014 appointed the Country Director for Malaysia and Brunei, where he is responsible for overseeing all of Rolls-Royce’s key business sector activities. He will in April 2017 take over the role of Regional Director South East Asia. He has a B.Eng (Hon) Mechanical degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a MBA from Ohio University, and has attended management courses at INSEAD and Oxford. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Saji held various senior management positions during his 22 years with global power generation, grid and rail solutions companies ABB and Alstom. He has held various local and regional positions.
He currently sits on the National Energy Consultative Panel, the Energy Council of Malaysia (ECOM) committee, Powergen Asia Advisory Board, MIGHT Board, British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) Board and the main as well as the subsidiary boards of Standards and Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM).
He is a keen golfer and badminton player.
